Dear friends,

Welcome back! In this third installment of the 5-part series, I will share with you the third golden rule for success in any business.
Let’s go through the previous two, and they were
1. See More People
2. See More People

Now, the 3rd Golden Rule for success is:
3. See More People. Yes again!

Let’s face it. Leads from any place will eventually dry up in any particular week. When that happens, what do you do? You simply go out and get the other cold leads! Or call your warm leads again!

Now, the big cats in the business jungle would mingle around with each other during dinner cocktails or networking sessions. This is business development and interaction at its most hardcore! So if big cats do it, why wouldn’t you?

Think about it, it’s not about the number of people that your presentation failed to convince, but rather it’s those leads and people, that you didn’t reach out to!

The market can never be saturated with products, simply because for every person who likes Coke, there will be others who like Pepsi! You can never convince everyone in the world to like just one product. And this is a rule that has lasted since man started barter trade, and business!

Of course, there are statistics to prove that 80% of your business revenue comes from 20% of your customers, which means to say that retention is very very important.

But that shouldn’t stop you from talking to other people, both strangers and friends; whether is it you are in a queue; or in the public transport; or waiting for your meal… Take this waiting time to talk to others about your business and how they may benefit from it. You don’t have to be pushy, because your future customers or business partners are always on a defensive in the first place. You have to learn how to melt the ice first… but that’s another article for another series!

So remember the 3rd rule, and that is to see more people! Again and again!
